Refund Policy

This policy explains how refunds work for Softstack Research subscriptions, credit purchases, and in-product usage. It supplements our Terms of Service.
1. General
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, fees for paid plans and credit packs are non-refundable once charged. Where the law in your jurisdiction gives you a mandatory cooling-off or similar right, we honor that period and process requests in line with those rules.
2. Subscriptions
Subscription renewals are billed in advance for each billing period. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current period unless we are required to by law.
3. Credits & campaigns
Studies consume credits at the rates shown in the product. Canceling an in-progress campaign refunds the estimated credits for that campaign back to your workspace balance, as described in our Terms. Credits already spent on completed work are not refundable as cash.
One-off credit packs do not expire; unused credits remain on your account until used.
4. Billing errors & duplicate charges
If you believe you were charged in error, or the same payment was processed twice, contact us promptly with the invoice or charge ID. We will investigate and correct confirmed mistakes.
5. How to request a refund
Email legal@softstackresearch.com from your account email, including your workspace name and relevant invoice or Stripe receipt details. We aim to respond within a few business days.
